Yellow tames even the strongest bull
Leading vehicle manufacturers around the world have their brake calipers fitted with friction linings from Textar. This is because vehicle manufacturers make no compromises when it comes to braking performance, durability and emissions. Only brake pads specially matched to each vehicle guarantee maximum performance under the toughest conditions. The inner values also make the decisive difference when it comes to brake repair: Tailor-made brake pad formulations from Textar meet the highest demands - in every caliper! It is not without reason that 70% of all commercial vehicles equipped with drum brake linings in Europe use Textar brake pads.
TMD Friction, the parent company, has also been active in the spare parts market since 1878 - and if we have our way, it can go on like this for another hundred years. Fortunately, TMD sees it the same way: the company wants to actively contribute to the changes in future mobility with its solutions for the vehicles of tomorrow.
What TMD Friction says

Our Textar/TMD product highlight
... the brake pad set Textar 8201
As a representative of the modern high-performance brake pads from Textar, we would like to present to you the Textar 8201 brake pad set.
Like all Textar brake pads, the Textar 8201 is perfectly matched to the vehicle and brake system. What is particularly interesting here is that Textar brake pads consist of up to 43 raw materials, which are combined in an in-house development laboratory to create a highly complex brake pad formula.
Textar provides its brake pads with a special, lacquer-like coating on the friction surface, depending on the application. This friction surface coating serves several purposes at once: It increases the initial coefficient of friction until the operating value is reached, improves the cleaning effect on corrosion-protected or used brake discs, reduces the tendency to lubricate when new brake pads are immediately subjected to thermal stress, and provides complete corrosion protection of the friction surface even during prolonged storage. In short, these brake pads bring your commercial vehicle to a stop - and for sure.
