Current newcomer: the Opel/Vauxhall Vivaro
A new edition of the Opel/Vauxhall Vivaro was presented in early summer 2014. The new version of the van was once again developed with Renault-Nissan. The model, which has been built since 2001, was available at the market launch in two lengths and two roof heights and as a panel van, combi van, double cab and platform chassis. The Vivaro became 216 millimetres longer overall, which results in a length of 4,998 or 5,398 millimetres depending on the wheelbase. The new Vivaro is available as a panel van with a loading volume of 5.2 to 8.6 cubic metres. The short version has a loading length of 2,537 millimetres, whereas the long version is 2,937 millimetres. The engines are also completely new. It is provided with a new 1.6 litre four cylinder turbodiesel engine, available as a single-turbo engine with 66 and 85 kW (90 and 115 PS) or a twin-turbo engine with 88 and 103 kW (120 and 140 PS).
Tried and tested small van: the Opel/Vauxhall Combo
The current generation of Opel/Vauxhall Combo small vans saw the light of day in early 2012. The key data for the latest model in the commercial vehicle range of the company: two wheelbases (2,755 and 3,105 millimetres), two roof heights, two loading lengths (1,820 and 2,170 millimetres), loading volume up to 4.2 cubic metres and useful load up to one tonne. Opel/Vauxhall have six drive units ready for the Combo. Four diesel engines, one petrol engine and one natural gas version provide a power output of 66 to 99 kW (90 to 135 PS). Depending on the version, the engines are combined with a five or six-speed manual transmission.
For large loads: the Opel/Vauxhall Movano
The 74 to 107 kW (100 to 146 PS) large van Movano includes more than 40 versions in its diverse range. The range includes panel vans, combi vans and chassis for a variety of bodies. The Movano is available with three wheelbases and three roof heights. This results in loading volumes of 8.0 to 13.9 cubic metres and a maximum useful load of 1.7 tonnes.
