For wearing parts and workshop requirements EUROPART customers in Lithuania are increasingly relying on EUROPART's own brand products. Today, EUROPART's own brand product range includes more than 6,500 parts. This expands by approximately 500 new parts every year. Sebastian Kamphaus, Head of International Sourcing at EUROPART, explains the criteria with which EUROPART selects articles for its own brand product range: "When identifying suitable products, we first check whether our customers are in demand for these, furthermore we examine the demand for alternatives to OEM products. The customers and their existing needs are always our top priority. In addition, the quality of all of the parts is tested both – in-house and by external testing organisations and fulfils the high standards of vehicle manufacturers."
The most popular products include chemicals such as brake cleaners, rust removers or windscreen cleaner along with batteries, lighting parts, shock absorbers and brake spare parts. Quality plays a key role for the latter, in particular. The company regularly proves just how good the EUROPART brake discs and brake pads are in truck racing, where EUROPART brakes are used on the racing trucks competing in the European Truck Racing Championship. The parts are subjected to extreme stresses and temperatures. The racing teams regularly confirm that the parts are highly reliable. EUROPART also offers own brand engine and transmission oils approved by almost all truck manufacturers without any restrictions regarding the oil change intervals.
According to Kestutis Pakenas, the EUROPART own brand product range is a key advantage in the Lithuanian market. The constantly increasing demand for these products reflects the need and high level of acceptance, states Mr. Pakenas. "With our product range and our branch network we have now established a very good position in Lithuania. Yet we will continue to expand in both areas – which will further increase our attractiveness for customers throughout Europe."
