EUROPART Premium Parts: By the end of 2016 with more than 7,000 products in its range / Over 1,500 top-sellers in the new DAF catalogue / EUROPART awarded for the second time this year
EUROPART, Europe's leading distributor of commercial vehicle parts and workshop requirements, presents at the IAA 2016 in Hanover from 22- 29 September, the wide range of spare parts and consumables of EUROPART own brand. Also the presentation of the new DAF catalogue is the focus of attention.
One focus of the EUROPART fair presentation is the extensive range of products of EUROPART own brand. "The demand for high quality alternatives to original parts, matching parts with the same functionality and quality, continues to grow steadily. This is where we come in with our Europe-wide successful two-brand strategy: Overall, our strong range includes 400,000 parts, so we can offer an individual solution for all needs and requirements, "explains EUROPART CEO Pierre Fleck.
The range of EUROPART own brand now includes more than 6,500 parts, every year 500 new references are added, so that by the end of 2016 the own brand range will comprise around 7,000 items. The range additions include additions to the existing core segment with new sizes, current models or additional variants as well as new product groups extending the program. "Our goal is to offer our customers all the necessary spare parts, tools and accessories from a single source and, if possible, to offer those as EUROPART own brand Premium Parts" explains Pierre Fleck.
Newcomer in the range: Working lights
In the past few months, EUROPART has expanded the range of own brand products, for example, by the engine cooling, the electrical or hand tools for the commercial vehicle workshop. New in the range, for example are LED working lights. Customers can choose from eight different models with different sizes, intensities and luminous angles. All EUROPART LED working lights feature high quality, shock and vibration resistant plastic housing and a diffuser made of impact- and scratch-resistant plastic. The housing is dust- and waterproof, as well as salt and frost resistant. The LED technology not only enables very bright illumination of the working area, the light sources are also shockproof, extremely low in energy consumption and can be used universally for all vehicle electric system from 12 to 55 volts. The working lights are CE marked and have a certificate for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). To further complement the electrical assortment EUROPART will add different LED flashing lights in the program of its own brand starting in autumn 2016.
Everything for the cooling system
EUROPART has also expanded the product area cooling. Thus, you will find in addition to water pumps also cooler, coolant expansion tanks and fan Visco clutches for all common truck models in range of own brand. The coolers are made of high quality and at the same time lightweight combination of plastics, aluminium and steel with high temperature resistance. All connection points are corrosion resistant. The exact production with latest production methods ensures a good fit. All coolers are inspected for leaks before shipping. The new Visco clutches in EUROPART own brand program are also manufactured to the highest automotive standards. They are designed for operating temperatures from -40 to +150 degrees Celsius and equipped with quality ball bearings in OEM quality. Thanks to high quality materials, the faithful implementation of all functionally relevant dimensions and an exact concentricity EUROPART Visco clutches can transmit very high torques and ensure a constant coolant temperature. In addition, the couplings have a very low power loss in the disengaged state.
The diversified product range of the EUROPART own brand includes furthermore consumables and workshop requirements, such as chemical products, oils and tools as well as parts in the fields of axle and brakes, suspension, engine accessories, lighting and electrics, equipment and accessories. For example, brake discs and pads are also available as EUROPART own brand products as well as filters, air springs, wiper or water pumps.
Quality at the highest level of automotive
All products of EUROPART own brand are checked by internal audits as well as by independent organizations to the highest automotive standards. "In order to ensure long-term excellent quality of our own brand products, we are going to strengthen our presence on the purchasing markets," explains Fleck. Besides the extension of the existing offices in Shanghai in July 2016, beginning 2017, more offices will be added in Turkey and India. "High quality ensures low complaint rate and thus customer satisfaction and continued success," says Pierre Fleck.
In addition to the favorable price-performance ratio, EUROPART customers can rely on a very high, European availability of spare parts, EUROPART ensures with its dense network, and with an excellent logistics concept. In order to continue to meet the ever increasing demand for the EUROPART own brand products and to guarantee maximum availability throughout Europe, EUROPART will open in the next 16 months so-called regional distribution center (RDC), starting in Eastern Europe. Pierre Fleck emphasized: "In general, our goal is to use the existing potential and to become one of the top three in the industry in all European countries."
More than 1,500 top-sellers in the new DAF catalogue
EUROPART has mainly researched the new DAF vehicle types and their mounted parts and extends its wide range with important parts. Thus, EUROPART pursues a strategy to offer its own catalogue for the "Big Seven" of manufacturer brands, showing the appropriate range for the target group.
The over 320-page EUROPART DAF catalogue covers the extensive program with more than 1,500 articles suitable for DAF model series XF, CF and LF model years 1997 to 2016. Truck specialists, workshops and fleet operators will find the top sellers and all common parts for DAF trucks - organized, and each provided with color image and matching order number. To facilitate the identification of the matching parts, EUROPART has sorted the index at the end of the catalogue by the DAF model series.
The catalogue is divided per series clearly to the product areas of motor, drive, suspension and damping, axle and steering, braking system, compressed air, lighting and electrical, body and cab. An extensive accessory chapter with universal equipment references for DAF trucks, such as different diagnostic, maintenance and repair equipment, tools, and suitable products for the workshop round out the catalogue. Moreover, additional contributions provide valuable information and advice to the reader, such as the work in the pit or on the new policy for brake testers. In addition to spare parts of well-known brand manufacturers as Hella, Mekra, Wabco, ZF, Dinex, Hengst, Knorr-Bremse, Reinz, Schaeffler, TRW, Dayco, Jost, ContiTech, Johnson Controls, Robert Bosch, Federal-Mogul, Meritor, Mahle or SKF numerous parts of the EUROPART own brand can be found in the new DAF catalogue.
EUROPART awarded for the second time this year
This year, EUROPART was awarded several times as "Best Brand 2016": just recently, readers of the trade magazine PROFI Werkstatt from HUSS publishing house have already voted EUROPART in 2016 as the best parts dealers, after an already successful award at the recent readers' poll. Also in the category "Cleaning and Care" EUROPART was – for the first time –awarded first place. In the readers' choice of the ETM publishing house in June, 9,680 participants also have awarded EUROPART for the fourth time and the third time in a row as the best brand in the category "Best Truck / Bus Parts Dealers".
