EUROPART CEO Pierre Fleck and Country Manager Spain Giuseppe Cinanni announced a strategic development in the Spanish organizational structure of EUROPART at the Motortec 2017 in Madrid on March 17: EUROPART bundles forces with longtime partner ARS from Lleida (Auto Recanvis Segre SL) and is opening the joint venture Eurorecanvis Girona at the end of June. In addition to its headquarters in Barcelona, EUROPART now has its first own sales branch and first own warehouse in Spain. The basis for further growth is thus laid.

"In order to use the great potential of the Spanish market and the Girona region with its active transit traffic and many forwarding companies, we decided to bundle our forces with our partner ARS,” says Fleck. "There is no distributor partner of ours in the region, so we are opening up a complete new area here and at the same time we are opening our first own sales location. This joint venture is a major step showing that we are heading into the right direction." 

Giuseppe Cinanni adds: "Our strategy and our business model have been evolving consistently: we want to further penetrate the market and continue to respect and rely on the local coverage of our actual distributor partnerships, which are existing since 2014 now. When it comes to regions with no EUROPART presence today, we will evaluate new expansions and solutions always with respect to our existing partners who will have many benefits from this development.”

European Truck Parts, the EUROPART Spanish Headquarter, will continue its activity with its distributors at national level separated from the joint venture. “Eurorecanvis Girona will be selling in the province of Girona only, as stated in the JV agreement" says Giuseppe Cinanni. EUROPART works closely with a total of 24 partners in Spain. "These partners have been active in their region for many years and are known to their customers," Cinanni emphasizes. “As professionalization is taking place and major changes in the distribution of parts will come, we will make sure that our partners will be in a position of competitive advantage in the coming years by constantly increasing the level of service, reducing the cost of ownership for our customers, by working on our products, quality and distribution channels.” EUROPART is responsible for a comprehensive range of parts with more than 400,000 parts, a powerful logistics and the advice of the central technical team. “Our distributors will benefit from this collaboration throughout Spain,” emphasizes Giuseppe Cinanni.

The location of Eurorecanvis Girona will have both, sales shop and warehouse, with more than 700sqm space. Therefore, EUROPART is able to support and supply customers within the region of Girona the best possible way, reaching every point of the province in less than 2 hours. The joint venture will be operating independently and within the region of Girona only. Here, some of the most important workshops, fleets and bus operators are located and almost 45% of the goods transport traffic is circulating from / to the other countries of the EU.

All over Spain, EUROPART has been setting up its network with renowned partners in the past three years successfully: EUROPART is covering more than 80% of the country and more than 90% of the Spanish market, with an even increasing tendency. EUROPART Sweden Group under New Management

Anita Lennerstad will take over the management of the EUROPART Group in Sweden effective immediately. The 61-year-old management expert has a very good knowledge of the market, high professional competence and more than 25 years of experience in the commercial vehicle and spare parts sector. From 2010 until the beginning of 2016, she was CEO of the trailer spare-part specialist Trailereffekter AB, which EUROPART took over from Axel Johnson AB in spring 2016. Prior to that, she had already held several senior positions in the commercial vehicle and automotive industry, especially at Volvo Truck and Volvo Bus.
"I am delighted that with Anita Lennerstad we were able to gain such a competent and committed expert in the Swedish commercial vehicle market," explains Pierre Fleck, CEO of EUROPART. EUROPART CEO Pierre Fleck announced a strategic development in Italy at the launch of the Transpotec 2017 trade fair in Verona from 22 - 25 February 2017: the leading trading company of spare parts and accessories for commercial vehicles has been setting up its network with renowned partners in the past three years successfully. Now, the Italian EUROPART subsidiary EUROPART Italia S.r.l. is heading to the next phase: even further growth is planned, in order to gain further market shares of the IAM.

Trade fair novelties on Transpotec 2017

At the Transpotec 2017, EUROPART will present itself in Hall 9, booth D14.1. The extensive program of EUROPART's own products is a key focus. New lights for truck and trailer

In addition to LED rotating beacons with European homologations, various LED side-marker lamps and rear lights for trucks and trailers are now also available under the EUROPART Premium Parts brand - all with European approval. Everything for the cooling system

EUROPART will be presenting further innovations in the cooling product area, which has recently been significantly expanded. Water pumps, coolers, coolant expansion tanks and fan-type Visco clutches have already been found in all the popular truck models in the own brand range. EUROPART has also added new coolant hoses and coolant thermostats for many current and older engine series.

The EUROPART radiators are made of a high-quality and at the same time light combination of plastics, aluminum and steel and very temperature-resistant. The exact production with the latest production methods ensures a high level of accuracy. All radiators are tested for leaks before delivery. The new Visco clutches in the EUROPART own-brand program are also manufactured to the highest automotive standards. They are designed for working temperatures from -40 to +150 degrees Celsius and equipped with high value ball bearings in original equipment quality. Thanks to high-quality materials, the exact compliance with all function-relevant dimensions and exact running, the EUROPART Visco clutches can transmit very large torques and ensure a constant coolant temperature.

The new thermostats use only premium materials. Thanks to the exact adherence to all functional dimensions, the EUROPART thermostats offer a high level of accuracy and reliability. This ensures that the opening temperature is precisely maintained, and that the thermostats regulate the flow and thus the temperature of the coolant exactly according to the manufacturer's specifications. The new EUROPART coolant hoses offer the same high quality, accuracy of fit and functional reliability. Only materials of original equipment quality are used in production. Thus, the hoses of ethylene-propylene-diene rubber are provided with a textile mesh of polyester (PET). As a result, the hoses meet all requirements of DIN ISO 73411 and SAE J20, are pressure and temperature resistant from -40 to +120 degrees Celsius and yet are flexible enough to accommodate all the roll and pitch movements of the engine.

EUROPART Continues Expansion of Service Network in Latvia

EUROPART Latvia SIA, the EUROPART country representative in Latvia, opened a second branch in the capital Riga in early February. EUROPART now has three branches in Latvia. The new branch is situated in the north-eastern part of Purvciems, close to many workshops, as well as numerous truck and bus operators.

EUROPART Country Manager Gints Silins explains: "Our new store has a total of 320 square meters of sales and storage space, now we are able to support and supply our customers on the eastern side of the Daugava River the best possible way." In the past, deliveries from the existing warehouse in Marupe, in the eastern part of the city, consumed too much time due to the few bridges and therefore the intense traffic. The new branch will considerably improve this situation.

EUROPART opens new locations in Sofia and Varna

EUROPART BULGARIA EOOD moved its branches in Sofia and Varna to new premises in October. The two new sales branches provide an excellent infrastructure along with easy access for customers and significantly more warehouse space with even better usability thanks to new warehouse equipment. Wenzeslav Stefanov, EUROPART Country Manager in Bulgaria: "After 15 successful years in Sofia, we simply had to expand our branch in order to   provide our customers an even better service and a broader product range on location. At the beginning of December, EUROPART, the leading European specialist for commercial vehicle parts and workshop equipment, will open a new branch in Zduńska Wola. As such, EUROPART now maintains a total of 26 branches in Poland.

Truck Race Season 2016: Reinert Racing Team Finishes with EUROPART with Top Rankings

René Reinert and Steffi Halm finish the season successfully in Le Mans / EUROPART brakes and other own brand products have proved their worth in hard racing

The FIA Truck Racing Championship season has come to an end on the legendary Bugatti circuit in Le Mans, France, from 7th to 9th October. The team Reinert Racing, supported by EUROPART, celebrated the most successful end of the season this weekend with two victories by Steffi Halm, a second place by René Reinert and a total of six podium places. Thanks to these results, team leader René Reinert was able to finish the season as a third place in the overall ranking. Steffi Halm was just fourth behind. Jochen Hahn, who became European champion for the fourth time, secured the overall victory. In the team evaluation, René Reinert won the title for Reinert Adventure together with Jochen Hahn. Steffi Halm, together with the WOW! WomenOnWheels team colleague Ellen Lohr, finished third.

At the end of the season, René Reinert was extremely satisfied with his placement in the overall ranking. "This super result I had not expected at the beginning of the season, because both Steffi and I could not participate in an entire race weekend, so four races. The fact that we still have the third and fourth place is proof of our consistently good performance and the high reliability of our vehicles. This is not least to the credit of EUROPART articles, which we have used and have convinced us from the start. "

One branch is located in Gradačac in the Canton of Tuzla. The second is in Jelah, around 15 kilometres to the south-west of Doboj. Truck Race Zolder: EUROPART customers experienced a weekend full of success

EUROPART customers in the middle of racing action / Top results for Reinert Racing Team / Further growth planned in Belgium

The seventh round of the FIA European truck racing championship at the Belgian Zolder had to offer a lot for 50 invited EUROPART customers: grid-walk, visiting the tent of Reinert Racing Team in the paddock and exciting races with successful placements of the Reinert Racing Team, which is supported by EUROPART.

 

Both racing trucks of the Reinert Racing Team are equipped with brakes, batteries and other parts of the EUROPART own brand. The brakes in particular are subject to extraordinary stress in the races and have to withstand temperatures up to 600 degrees. "Here, our customers can experience live and on-site the high quality of the EUROPART products within the trucks of René Reinert and Steffi Halm. ", explains Frank Duveau, since August new EUROPART country manager in Belgium.

 

EUROPART is currently represented with two branches in Belgium and is taking care of customers in both, the Flemish and the Walloon part of the country with a total of 11 employees. In the upcoming months, new country manager Frank Duveau will further strengthen the position of EUROPART in Belgium and build up the presence and team.

 

The Reinert Racing Team could score a lot of points at the seventh round of the FIA truck racing championship. Although René Reinert finished third in qualifying, he could not complete the first race due to an error with the speed limitation device. EUROPART, Europe's leading distributor of commercial vehicle parts and workshop requirements, presents at the IAA 2016 in Hanover from 22- 29 September, the wide range of spare parts and consumables of EUROPART own brand. Also the presentation of the new DAF catalogue is the focus of attention.

One focus of the EUROPART fair presentation is the extensive range of products of EUROPART own brand. "The demand for high quality alternatives to original parts, matching parts with the same functionality and quality, continues to grow steadily. This is where we come in with our Europe-wide successful two-brand strategy: Overall, our strong range includes 400,000 parts, so we can offer an individual solution for all needs and requirements, "explains EUROPART CEO Pierre Fleck.

The range of EUROPART own brand now includes more than 6,500 parts, every year 500 new references are added, so that by the end of 2016 the own brand range will comprise around 7,000 items. Newcomer in the range: Working lights

New in the range, for example are LED working lights. Customers can choose from eight different models with different sizes, intensities and luminous angles. All EUROPART LED working lights feature high quality, shock and vibration resistant plastic housing and a diffuser made of impact- and scratch-resistant plastic. The housing is dust- and waterproof, as well as salt and frost resistant. EUROPART awarded for the second time this year

This year, EUROPART was awarded several times as "Best Brand 2016": just recently, readers of the trade magazine PROFI Werkstatt from HUSS publishing house have already voted EUROPART in 2016 as the best parts dealers, after an already successful award at the recent readers' poll. Also in the category "Cleaning and Care" EUROPART was – for the first time –awarded first place. In the readers' choice of the ETM publishing house in June, 9,680 participants also have awarded EUROPART for the fourth time and the third time in a row  as the best brand in the category "Best Truck / Bus Parts Dealers".

EUROPART has been awarded twice with the prize “Best brand 2016”: After the last readers’ choice of PROFI Werkstatt (issued by the HUSS publishing house) in 2014, the readers have again put Europe's leading distributor of commercial vehicle parts and workshop supplies in first place in the category ‘Commercial Vehicle Parts Distributor’. For the first time, EUROPART was also awarded first place in the category ‘Cleaning and Care’. The celebration of the award took place in the setting and with cooperation of the Automechanika international trade fair at the Frankfurt exhibition site. Thomas Pietsch, editor in chief of PROFI Werkstatt and Steffi Halm, Truck Race driver in the Reinert Racing team were hosting the event. EUROPART CEO Pierre Fleck received the prizes.

With the vote as best commercial vehicle parts distributor, the professionals in the transport industry pay tribute to the customer-friendly and expert service, the fast and precise logistics, as well as the comprehensive product range.

Truck Race Most: Reinert Racing Team finishes with EUROPART own brand in three races on the podium

Over 150 customers experience successful race Weekend / Products of EUROPART own brand convince in Most by high quality and reliability / EUROPART Premium Parts very much in demand in the Czech Republic and Poland

From 02 until 04 September 2016 in Czech Most the 6th round of the FIA European Truck Racing Championship took place at the Autodrom Most. EUROPART invited more than 150 customers from the Czech Republic and Poland to experience the weekend together on the track.

The Reinert Racing team, equipped with products of EUROPART own brand, has driven in all races with two trucks in very good front places. The highlight was the common podium on Saturday: 2nd place went to René Reinert and 3rd place to Steffi Halm.

"It is always a major event again, when the 1000 hp trucks in Autodrom Most fight for first places. We are very proud of the performance of our own brand products in each race and want to show this to our customers," explains Vladimir Bohac, Country Manager EUROPART Czech Republic. Karol Prozner, Country Managaer EUROPART Poland, adds: "Our customers are live when the EUROPART own brand products are installed by mechanics and they are live when the trucks drive on the race track and the products are under the extreme conditions of reliable operation. This really is perfect! "

EUROPART Czech Republic will open another branch in Zlin soon and therefore expand the network further. "We want to be represented nationwide as much as possible and therefore are continuously improving our customer service," says Bohac. Daily deliveries from the central warehouse in Werl are also ensuring the maximum availability of 400,000 parts strong EUROPART range in the Czech Republic.

Successful Expansion of EUROPART Distribution Network in Lithuania

EUROPART, Europe's leading dealer for commercial vehicle spare parts, accessories and workshop requirements, is expanding its presence in Lithuania and is opening a new branch in Panevėžys, strategically located.

Kestutis Pakenas, EUROPART Country manager in Lithuania, states: "With the new branch in Panevėžys, we are offering an even higher availability and an even faster delivery to our customers all over Lithuania. Of course, this opening is an important step in becoming one of the first three vehicle parts dealer in Lithuania – this is exactly what we are aiming for and we are on the right track with this development.”

Truck Race Budapest: EUROPART Customers Experience Successful Weekend of Racing at the Hungaroring

Over 300 EUROPART customers attended the race weekend at the Hungaroring / Winning with EUROPART’s own brand: Second victory this season for Steffi Halm (Reinert Racing Team) / EUROPART own brand products much in demand in Hungary

The second half of the FIA European Truck Racing Championship season began on August 26 at the legendary Hungaroring in Hungary. From 26th to 28th August 2016, no fewer than 32,000 visitors experienced a racing weekend in the height of summer. Tamás Litvanyi, EUROPART country manager Hungary, had invited more than 300 customers to enjoy the spectacle together with EUROPART.

As usual, Team Reinert Racing was equipped with EUROPART own brand products, and competed within the races at the Hungaroring: driver René Reinert did not take part in the racing weekend, but his team colleague Steffi Halm performed extremely well on Saturday, taking first place for the second time this season.

“The truck race at the Hungaroring is the perfect opportunity to present our own brand in action. Our customers were right there, when Steffi Halm took first place”, explained an enthusiastic Litvanyi. “Our own brand products are truly truck race approved and we are very proud of that”.

The range of own brand products now includes more than 6,500 parts. In addition to consumables and workshop supplies, as well as chemical products, oils and tools. New features in the range are for example: working lights, coolant expansion tanks, steering column switches, side marker and clearance lights, ABS/EBS electric coils, or filter. Since 14th of August Camilla Widerström (37) is responsible as manager for human resources of EUROPART Sweden. EUROPART Sweden has recently united under one roof Lastvagnsdelar (LVD) and Trailereffekter (TE). Karin Mehwald, Director HR International: "I am pleased that we could win over a savvy and experienced staff with Camilla Widerström, who will with her expertise be responsible for our now enlarged team in Sweden. Camilla Widerström will complement our international HR team and be responsible for the Swedish personnel management."

EUROPART Plans Realignment and Growth in the Benelux Countries

"In order to use existing potential even more, we will strengthen the organization in each country. Expansion of EUROPART Office in Shanghai

On 19th of July 2016 the new, enlarged EUROPART office was officially opened. An own EUROPART purchasing department with a quality team is located here, which is active in the selection of suppliers and later, also control and approve the production processes as well as the finished products, adhering to the strict EUROPART quality requirements.

In addition to the  expansion of the existing offices in Shanghai, as early as at the beginning of 2017 more offices will opened, for example in Turkey and India. Successful Expansion of EUROPART Distribution Network in Romania

Two new branches opened / 10 branches now cover every region in the country / More than 6,500 products in EUROPART’s own brand program available / Outstanding spare part expertise and high availability in all types of commercial vehicles in Europe

EUROPART, Europe's leading dealer for commercial vehicle spare parts, accessories and workshop requirements, is expanding its presence in Romania and is opening two new branches, one in Constanta and one in Cluj, both strategically located. 

“Despite the difficult economic situation during the past years, EUROPART ROMPART continues to grow. This development is clearly an important step. We reformed our team to become one of the best in the industry, offering profound support and expertise to our clients and partners,” says Siegfried Ludwig, Country Manager of EUROPART ROMPART.

The new branch in Constanta is strategically favourable located next to the highways A4 and A2, connecting the east and south with the sea. Furthermore, the new branch is near to national roads, connecting the south of the country with the north. "This new location is an outstanding addition to our presence: between huge industrial parks like ‘Logistic Park SA’ or ‘Pala Industrial Zone’ our sales staff can easily access other strategic spots in the country, such as Mangalia, Calarasi, Agigea or Medgidia,” says Mr Ludwig. The second new branch in Cluj also has a strategically location, on an important transport node to the north. Both branches are open from Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Best Times for EUROPART at the Nuerburgring

First EUROPART in-house exhibition: more than 3,500 visitors at the "EUROPART BESTZEIT" / EUROPART CEO Pierre Fleck looks back on successful first half of 2016 / EUROPART continues to expand / Products of the own brand EUROPART very popular with customers / Steffi Halm takes 1st place with EUROPART own brand

With the in-house exhibition "EUROPART BESTZEIT” EUROPART is breaking new ground. For the first time in Germany, Europe's leading distributor of commercial vehicle spare parts and workshop equipment hosted a trade fair exclusively for commercial vehicle spare parts as well as equipment, tools and consumable materials for the commercial vehicle workshop on July 2, 2016, in the framework of the ADAC Truck Grand Prix at the Nürburgring. "Our concept is a complete success," EUROPART Sales Manager D-A-CH Olaf Giesen drew a pleased balance. "Not only that we could acquire 78 brands as exhibitors for our in-house exhibition, 'EUROPART BESTZEIT ' was also very well received by our customers. More than 3,500 visitors - workshop operators as well as transport and bus operators - found their way into the Bitburger Event Center, as well as into the two exhibition tents at the Nuerburgring, to inform themselves about new products and services for commercial vehicle parts. In the tent in the industrial park, EUROPART presented the wide range of spare parts and consumables of the own brand EUROPART. With more than 2,500 square meters of exhibition space is "EUROPART BESTZEIT" the biggest event of its kind in the commercial vehicle spare parts industry.

EUROPART has deliberately chosen the Nürburgring as a venue, because the company for some years has supported brand-independent truck race teams in the European Championship. EUROPART as a sponsor provides parts and products of EUROPART’s own brand for the needs of the workshop. So, for example, brakes of EUROPART’s own brand are now being used in the truck races for the third season without weaknesses or failures and have demonstrated here their strength and reliability. In this race season EUROPART has been supporting the Team Reinert Racing that is with two vehicles at the starting point of the European Championships. Also truck race driver Sascha Lenz, who had started as a local hero at the Nürburgring is driving with brakes and other parts of our private brand EUROPART.

EUROPART continues to expand 
EUROPART CEO Pierre Fleck used the in-house exhibition “EUROPART BESTZEIT” at the Nuerburgring to highlight the successful development of the company. "With our European orientation, the clear focus as a specialist for truck, trailer, transporter and bus, we have created an excellent basis for a successful expansion. In the last year, we could enlarge our organization and considerably increase sales again, due to numerous new branches, new partners and acquisitions."

As Pierre Fleck continued to explain, the branch network has grown significantly over the past twelve months. So, besides new sites in Russia, Romania and Poland also other partners and offices were added in Austria, Italy, France and Spain. The largest increase for the time being was in Sweden. In March 2016, EUROPART could acquire truck parts dealer LVD and Trailer Effecter that have been part of the Swedish AxDrive Group. EUROPART, LVD and Trailereffekter have now jointly 22 branches in Sweden. Pierre Fleck: "Thus we are market leader in Sweden. Our goal is to be among the top three places of the industry.”
With more than 300 sales outlets in 28 countries EUROPART is already today one of the leading traders for commercial vehicle spare parts and workshop equipment in Europe. The leading position is reflected in awards such as "Best Brand in 2016". In the reader's choice of the ETM Publishing house recently 9680 participants had chosen EUROPART for the fourth time, and for the third time in a row, by a wide margin as best brand in the category truck / bus parts dealer.

Bus segment will be further expanded
In the future, the bus segment will play an important role for further growth, EUROPART CEO explained. "We're already the number two and want to become market leader here, too. As the only parts dealer we can offer a very wide range of bus spare parts and provide expert advice by experienced specialists in Europe." This benefits especially internationally-based bus operators, whose fleets run in many European countries. They are able to use the EUROPART service with high availability, faster supply of parts and expert advice at each of their locations under the same conditions. To improve the offer for bus customers, EUROPART has added not only new specialized products, such as body parts already painted at the factory, to the range, but also invested in the expertise of its employees. Thus, a designated bus specialist strengthens the competence team since spring 2016.

Quick delivery and a high availability of parts - in addition to the quality - are key factors for high customer satisfaction, emphasizes EUROPART CEO Pierre Fleck. An important component in the EUROPART organization is therefore the central warehouse in Werl, Westphalia. In the high-bay warehouse with 33,000 square meters warehouse and handling area EUROPART constantly stocks more than 50,000 articles. "From here we send more than 800 orders daily with up to 14,000 individual items to our branches, but also directly to customers throughout Europe", explains Fleck. Beginning in Eastern Europe, EUROPART will set up so-called regional distribution centers (RDC) in the next 18 months. Pierre Fleck: "With these central hubs in different countries we can ensure an even better supply and a higher availability in all parts of Europe in the future."

Strengthen presence in the purchasing markets 
EUROPART wants to invest further, not only in logistics and the expansion of the network but also on the purchasing side, and in particular for the segment of own brand products, wear parts and consumables offered by the company as a low-cost alternative to original branded products. "To ensure the excellent quality of our own brand products in the long term, we are in the process of strengthening our presence on the purchasing markets", explains Fleck. In addition to the  expansion of the existing offices in Shanghai in July 2016, as early as at the beginning of 2017 more offices will opened, for example in Turkey and India. EUROPART through these offices keeps close contact to its suppliers. Also, own EUROPART quality teams are located here, which are active in the selection of suppliers and later, also control and approve the production processes as well as the finished products, adhering to the strict EUROPART quality requirements. "A high quality ensures a low complaint rate and thereby ensures customer satisfaction and a continued success", comments EUROPART CEO Pierre Fleck. "The complaint rate of our own brand products is less than 0.019 percent - thanks to our quality management system and the presence at the suppliers’ location."

D-A-CH region with strong growth
In Germany, Austria and Switzerland EUROPART gained extraordinary growth over the past twelve months, declared Olaf Giesen, EUROPART Sales Manager D-A-CH, at the in-house exhibition "EUROPART BESTZEIT". Not only the total turnover in the German-speaking markets has evolved positively, especially the bus segment has grown disproportionately with a two-digit growth compared with the same period last year. "Our strategy to invest in additional know-how and specialized employees in the bus sector and substantially expand the range of parts for buses, has worked," Giesen said. So, the company won numerous new customers inter alia in this segment. The result: New customer sales at EUROPART multiplied in comparison to the previous year.

In the course of growth, Europe's leading dealer for truck parts and workshop requirements has further expanded its branch network in the German-speaking world. So, EUROPART now is represented also in Austria. A new partner in the region of Graz Styria Burgenland is the Truck'n' Roll Zmugg GmbH based in Kalsdorf near Graz. The company has 19 employees and a 1000-square-meter warehouse, where the most popular parts are always in stock.

Encouraging growth for EUROPART was recorded at leasing operator BFS. Since this year, the company has 70 BFS-partner-MAN workshops in Germany and Switzerland. Very recently EUROPART has also collaborated closely with the car dealership purchasing association TECHNO, as Olaf Giesen said. "First we serve the Mercedes-Benz car dealerships because they take care of cars and trucks as well as and therefore benefit from our expertise and product range." With the full load network Elvis, EUROPART has also won another large customer. Thus the more than 100 partners with more than 15,000 vehicles in 76 locations in Europe can now also access the EUROPART range of delivery with 400,000 parts as well as the competent technical advice of the EUROPART employees.

Workshop concept TrailerSTATION will be further expanded
EUROPART will also expand TrailerSTATION and TruckSTATION in particular in Germany, said Sales Director Giesen. With these brand-independent workshop concepts, EUROPART closes a gap in the service network of established brands. The network of independent commercial vehicle workshops is able, due to appropriate equipment and commercial vehicle know-how, to maintain and repair trailers, superstructures and special vehicles from the production of smaller and medium-sized car builders, which usually have no own service network. These activities focus on the TrailerSTATION, as Olaf Giesen emphasizes. "In the trailer segment all partners can benefit the most – from manufacturer, over workshops, up to fleet operators – by a brand-independent service network. Thus we see here the greatest need."
TrailerSTATION today has a nationwide network of more than 100 stations in all parts of Germany. Giesen underlines that EUROPART wants to further expand and strengthen the network. But here quality counts more than quantity. "The selection of qualified and growth-oriented enterprises for the workshop concept ensures a high quality of service of all partners and thus is also a success factor for the workshops themselves." Advantages for the truck and TrailerSTATION workshop partners result from the availability of many services, but above all from a better utilization of the workshop, said Giesen..

EUROPART: Company with prospects
For the coming months, EUROPART plans to invest in know-how and competence and simultaneously pursue a clear strategy for the expansion of the network and the optimization of processes in customer service, said Olaf Giesen, Sales Director D-A-CH, at the in-house exhibition' EUROPART BESTZEIT'. "We continue to invest in the education and training of our employees.”Moreover, we will continue driving the modernization of individual processes and further expand our network in our most important market in Germany, Austria and Switzerland." Also, the successful concept of customer segmentation will further be intensified after vehicles (bus, truck and trailer) and business models (workshop, shipping, bus companies). "By this way, we can react more competently on the needs of our customers and better serve the customers.” A higher level of professionalism and competence should be achieved by a new branch model, in which the branches should be even more sales-oriented, while specialized and highly qualified employees at the company headquarters will assist with their technical expertise available to all branches and customers when needed. 

EUROPART own brand: Quality must not be expensive
Ralf Maurer, Commercial Director at EUROPART, and his team achieved a lot, the EUROPART product range strategy works: "Our two-brand strategy is an integral part of the European wide success of EUROPART. We focus specifically on the combination of selected premium brands and a wide range of wear and spare parts of our own brand EUROPART." Thus, EUROPART offers the right solution for all requirements and needs of customers in all parts of Europe. "With the EUROPART own brand products, we offer our clients a cost effective alternative to original branded products, without sacrificing quality. Thus, we help our customers to reduce the costs for maintenance and repair and thus the total cost of ownership (TCO)", Maurer notes. 

Range expansion is steadily progressing
The EUROPART own brand range comprises more than 6,500 parts today. In addition to the consumable materials and workshop supplies, such as chemicals, oils and tool, customers can find parts from axle and brake, chassis, engine accessories, lighting and electrical as well as equipment and accessories in a wide selection. Ralf Maurer: "Since introducing EUROPART’s own brand in 1995 we continuously expand the product range. Annually, more than 500 new positions are added, by the end of 2016 we will have around 7,000 articles in the range of our own brand. By 2019 there will be more than 8,500 articles." Expansions of the range include both: additions to the existing core segment with new sizes, current models or additional variants as well as new product groups, which extend the program. These include for example, currently products for engine cooling, electrics or hand tools for the commercial vehicle workshop.

High quality for satisfied customers
All EUROPART own brand products are tested through internal audits, as well as by independent organizations according to German quality standards. How well the quality is in everyday use, shows the low complaint rate of own-brand products. "The percentage of returned parts to the total sales is currently 0.019 percent", says Maurer. "So we are at a very good level same as an original brand manufacturer." EUROPART also offers own brand engine and transmission oils approved by almost all truck manufacturers without any restrictions regarding the oil change intervals. The complaint-free use in the truck race, too, is proof of the high quality of EUROPART own-brand products. In particular the brakes are subject to exceptionally tough loads with temperatures of up to 600 degrees. 
As usual, Team Reinert Racing was equipped with EUROPART own brand products and completed all four races within best times: driver Steffi Halm took first place for the first time and René Reinert also achieved good placings in the races.

EUROPART wins accolade as 'Best Brand' for the fourth time

Readers of the German vehicle sector journals lastauto omnibus, trans aktuell and Fernfahrer have awarded EUROPART the title of 'Best Brand 2016' in the category HGV/bus parts dealer / The deciding factor was the excellent level of product availability sustained by EUROPART through use of sophisticated logistics and maintenance of a large stock of more than 400,000 brand replacement parts / EUROPART planning major new developments over the next 18 months

For the fourth time overall and the third time in a row, EUROPART has won the title of 'Best Brand' in the HGV/bus parts dealer category. Readers of the German magazines lastauto omnibus, trans aktuell and Fernfahrer have again put EUROPART, Europe's leading dealer in the commercial vehicle and workshop supply sector, in first place thus endorsing its achievements of past years. By awarding EUROPART the title of 'Best Brand 2016', the professionals of the transport industry are acknowledging the customer-orientated and proficient services, the rapid and meticulous logistics operations and the vast range of spare parts offered by the dealer.

On receiving the coveted trophy during the award ceremony in Stuttgart on 23 June 2016, Olaf Giesen, Head of Sales for Germany, Austria and Switzerland at EUROPART, said: "Winning such an outstanding award for the fourth time represents a very real achievement of which we are extremely proud. Truck Race Nogaro: René Reinert takes 1st place with EUROPART own brand

EUROPART own brand products once again delivered convincing quality and reliability in Nogaro / Preview: Beginning of July, EUROPART exhibition accompanies the ADAC Truck Grand Prix at the Nuerburgring

The 3rd FIA European Truck Racing Championship took place at the Circuit Paul Armagnac race track in Nogaro in southern France from 10th to 12th of June 2016. More than 40,000 visitors experienced a varied program: in addition to the city tour of the race trucks on Friday evening, there was also an opportunity to admire France's most beautiful trucks during the procession through Nogaro's narrow streets.

As usual, Team Reinert Racing was equipped with EUROPART own brand products and competed in all four races at Nogaro: driver René Reinert took first place on the Circuit Paul Armagnac for the second time this season. His team colleague, Steffi Halm, also demonstrated her skills by driving the fifth fastest lap of all of the competitors in the first race, despite a previous crash. Halm also achieved good placings in the following races.

The brakes, for example, must always function reliably, even at temperatures of up to 600°C. Truck Race Misano: Best Times Not Only For EUROPART’s Customers

More than 350 customers enjoyed a successful event at Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli / Reinert Racing Team successful with products of EUROPART’s own brand / EUROPART is planning further growth in Italy

Accompanied by sunshine most of the time, the second race of the European Truck Racing Championship took place in Misano, Italy on May 28th and 29th 2016. More than 350 customers of EUROPART were invited to join the Italian EUROPART country organization and local EUROPART dealers to enjoy the races directly at the circuit.

Francesco Marangio, EUROPART country manager in Italy, is satisfied with the weekend: “Not only had our customers the opportunity to stay nearby our sponsored team Reinert Racing, but to talk to the two drivers René Reinert and Stephanie Halm in person. Once again, they could learn something about the use of EUROPART’ own brand products within the racing trucks of the team – they literally looked over the mechanic’s shoulder. Furthermore, our customers witnessed the successful racing results at first hand!”

Marangio explains the importance of the sponsoring activities within the truck racing: “We are able to show the quality of our own brand and to prove right in front of everyone’s eyes that our products are truck race approved. In addition, this event is the perfect occasion to further expand and strengthen our relationship with our customers.”

"EUROPART BESTZEIT" Europe's leading distributor of commercial vehicle spare parts and workshop equipment has called its in-house exhibition and thus makes the reference to the venue: the Nürburgring. EUROPART uses the ADAC Truck Grand Prix that is popular within the entire transport and commercial vehicle sector on the first weekend in July and organized its in-house exhibition "EUROPART BESTZEIT" on Saturday, July 2nd at the Bitburger Event Center directly on the Nürburgring, as well as in 2 tents in the paddock. Another important step for EUROPART Italy: brand new warehouse in Parma

The largest EUROPART distributor in Italy opens a new branch in Parma / Further expansion of the network in northern Italy planned

Effective immediately, Europart s.r.l. is opening a brand new warehouse in Parma and another logistic point in Cremona. In addition, Alberto Tonti, managing director of Europart s.r.l., and Matteo Ferrari, well known player within the industrial vehicles aftersales business in Italy, are building a new, strong partnership.

René Reinert Drives With EUROPART

EUROPART together with the Reinert Racing Team are competing in the Truck Race Championship 2016. Europe's leading trading company of spare parts for commercial vehicles, workshop equipment and accessories supports the team around René Reinert, who competes in this year with two newly-built trucks. While Reinert himself is already fighting for top positions at the first race in the Austrian Spielberg on April 30th  Steffi Halm as the pilot of the second Reinert truck will intervene from the second racing weekend at the end of May in the Italian Misano.

Fastpart celebrates a small anniversary in May. Exactly two years ago owner Tony Catania founded the trading company for commercial vehicle spare parts in Catania – as one of the first EUROPART distributors in Italy. Since then, Fastpart has experienced rapid growth. Last autumn they already opened the first branch in Termini Imerese, near Palermo. EUROPART strengthens its Human Resources department

Katarzyna Lewiak is the new Human Resources Manager in Poland / Expanding the International HR team / Standardised personnel strategy throughout all of Europe

EUROPART continues to grow throughout Europe and is expanding its international Human Resources department accordingly: Katarzyna Lewiak (41) joined the company as Human Resources Manager and is responsible for all human resources issues in EUROPART Poland – from selecting applicants to personal development. Karin Mehwald, Director HR International: "I am very happy that we have successfully recruited such an experienced and dedicated HR specialist in Katarzyna Lewiak. She is an excellent addition to our team."

As Karin Mehwald explains, EUROPART will continue expanding its successful personnel strategy at an international level. "Competent and dedicated employees who identify with our company and our values, who are focused on the customer and, above all, are happy to provide good service – they are one of the key factors behind the Europe-wide success of EUROPART. Midterm EUROPART intends to expand its international HR team in other countries. Currently an HR Manager position has been created in Sweden and the recruiting is in progress. Other countries will follow during the course of the year. EUROPART is now present in 28 countries in Europe with more than 300 locations, some with a sales organisation, and some with dealers. EUROPART employs 1.800 people throughout the Europe.

EUROPART Successfully Acquires Swedish Parts Dealers LVD and Trailereffekter

EUROPART Group now a market leader in Sweden, increased branches and a comprehensive logistics network throughout Sweden. LVD and Trailereffekter continue to operate under each respective brand.

EUROPART Holding GmbH has acquired Swedish Parts Dealers LVD and Trailereffekter former members of the Swedish AxDrive Group. The antitrust authorities have now approved the acquisition. EUROPART and Axel Johnson International AB signed the purchase agreement on 29 January 2016. Both parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.

"This acquisition significantly strengthens our position in Northern Europe," explained Pierre Fleck, EUROPART CEO. "EUROPART, LVD and Trailereffekter jointly have over 22 branches in Sweden now. We are the market leader in Sweden, and aim to reach the leading position throughout Europe. Our goal is to be in one of the top three places in every European countries."

Mikael Bornandersson, the EUROPART Country Manager in Sweden, will be responsible for all the three companies’ sites in Sweden. "Mikael Bornandersson has been a respected and well established partner to our customers, suppliers and partners in the Swedish market for many years. We are fully confident that he will be successful in this immense assignment”, Pierre Fleck (CEO) went on to say.
After the acquisition LVD and Trailereffekter, two traditional Swedish brands, will continue to operate under their original brand names. Each company will retain their respective expertise to ensure a smooth transition and continuity in customer relationships. Mikael Bornandersson said: “Customers will greatly benefit from all three companies extensive commercial vehicle engineering know-how. Whether it is diagnosis, engines or vehicle parts, our specialists can support customers through their diverse knowledge and experience."

This acquisition will further benefit LVD and Trailereffekter customers, as they will have access to EUROPART’s offering of more than 400,000 articles. "We have very good relationships with our suppliers and can therefore offer an exceptionally wide range of original spare parts in the LVD and Trailereffekter branches now. We will supply our customers in Sweden with proven brands at the best possible level ", said Mikael Bornandersson.
The product offering ranges from spare parts for all current European brands trucks, vans, buses and trailers via workshop equipment to chemicals. Even multi-brand diagnostic devices belong to the assortment. Through interim storage on-site and a regular supply from the central warehouse in Werl (Germany) EUROPART can ensure readily available parts either delivered directly to the customer, or for pick-up at branches in Sweden. In addition, dealers and customers benefit from the high level of technical expertise at EUROPART.
As the only European commercial vehicle parts dealer represented in 27 European countries, EUROPART plays an important role for specific international clients, such as large freight forwarders and transport operators who have offices in several European countries.

LVD Lastvagnsdelar Svenska AB was founded in 1976, and since become a leading supplier of commercial vehicle parts in Sweden with nine sales branches. EUROPART expands its service network in Russia

Two new branches opened / 32 branches now cover every region in the country

The network of EUROPART branches in Russia continues to grow: In recent months, Europe's leading dealer for commercial vehicle parts, workshop requirements and accessories has opened two new branches, one in Mineralnyje Wody near the border to Georgia as well as another in Rjasan, approximately 200 km south east of Moscow. "With 32 branches in 23 cities we can ensure excellent support and good availability for our customers in every region of Russia", explains Pavel Krichevskiy, Managing Director of EUROPART Rus. 

The new branch in Mineralnyje Wody is located directly on the R217 "Kaukasus" and the E50/E117, the main route between the Caspian Sea and the primary transit route to Georgia. "This new location is an outstanding addition to our presence in the south-west, where EUROPART was previously represented by two branches in Krasnodar and Rostow-am-Don", says Mr. Krichevskiy. The second, new branch in Rjasan also has a strategically favourable location not far from the E30/E115 and the M4 “Don”, on an important transport node to the south-east of Moscow. Both branches are open from Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Since the beginning of May 2015 EUROPART has been the exclusive partner of DKV, which offers the largest brand-independent acceptance network for cashless en-route supply in commercial goods and bus transport. Also all German EUROPART sale outlets accept the DKV CARD for the purchase of wear and spare parts. "En route you can now react quickly and flexibly to defects and damaged or missing material. Commercial vehicle parts dealer supervises the entire BFS workshop network since the beginning of this year / High spare part expertise for all types of commercial vehicles

EUROPART and the truck rental company BFS will work together closely in the future. The leading European commercial vehicle parts dealer will supervise the nationwide BFS network of 70 highly qualified partner MAN workshops in Germany and Switzerland effective immediately. "We are especially pleased to provide a sustainable premium partnership," explains Olaf Giesen, Director Sales DACH. Viktor Tresó has supported EUROPART Hungary since the beginning of the year. He will work on the further expansion and ongoing specialisation of the bus segment. His focus here will be on acquisitions and support for the bus fleets.

Mr. Tresó is an expert in the commercial vehicles market. He gained his experience, in particular, as a long-standing sales employee at a successful workshop service for trucks and buses where he was responsible for supporting partners and customers.

Since the beginning of the year, Rafal Swistun has supported EUROPART Polska S.A. as key account manager for acquisitions and will also be responsible advising the bus range in addition to supporting the bus fleets.
Mr. Swistun is an experienced expert in the bus sector and previously worked for one of Europe's largest bus companies. He was responsible for the operating business and personally handled both, the scheduling and managing of the fleet. There, he started his career as mechanic, where he became thoroughly familiar with the functions and construction of a broad range of different bus models. In addition to his current specialisation, Rafal Swistun also has experience as a branch manager at a passenger vehicle supplier and also as technical consultant for a renowned provider of workshop, assembly and fastening articles for trade and industry.

EUROPART takes over Swedish parts distributors LVD and Trailereffekter

Enables efficient logistics network in Sweden / Together stronger position in Northern Europe / The LVD and Trailereffekter brands will remain

EUROPART Holding GmbH and Axel Johnson International AB, headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, have agreed that EUROPART acquires the commercial vehicle parts distributors LVD Lastvagnsdelar and Trailereffekter. The acquisition is subject to antitrust approval. There is an agreement to maintain silence about the purchasing price.

"The combination of EUROPART, LVD and Trailereffekter will strengthen our position in Northern Europe and offer the Swedish customers a more powerful and comprehensive service for commercial vehicle spare parts, workshop supplies and accessories," explains EUROPART CEO Pierre Fleck.

"The expertise and global procurement resources of EUROPART will sustainably ensure and continue to strengthen the competitiveness of LVD and Trailereffekter", says Mats R. Karlsson, President and CEO of Axel Johnson International.

The Swedish traditional brands will be maintained. LVD Lastvagnsdelar Svenska AB was founded in 1976 and has evolved into one of the leading suppliers of commercial vehicle components in Sweden with nine sales outlets nationwide. Trailereffekter AB was founded in 1977 and is specialized in the sale of spare parts for trailers. Trailereffekter has seven sales outlets and employees with a wide-range of expertise for both new and imported trailers as well as older trailers from regional production. Together the two companies have an annual revenue of 28 Mio. EUR (264 Mio. SEK) and 93 employees. EUROPART is represented in Sweden with six branches.

New directions: Change in support for the "Truck and trailer stations"

Thomas Kotowski leaves EUROPART and faces new challenges / Thorsten Müller takes over the support of the workshop concept / “Truck and trailer stations”: comprehensive network of workshops with reliable service standard

Thomas Kotowski (53) joins Germany's largest automobile club and leaves EUROPART at the beginning of the year.

In future, Mr. Kotowski will be responsible for the support of the international network partners of Europe Net NV/SA (subsidiary of ADAC TruckService GmbH & Co. KG) as well as for the extension of the service range of ADAC TruckService. Olaf Giesen, Head of Sales for Germany, Austria and Switzerland: "We wish him all the best and every success for the future within his new job and are pleased that we will continue to work together with him in future in his new role!"

Thorsten Müller will take over the support of the successful workshop concept in addition to his current position as Sales Manager Cooperation within Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The 48-year-old has worked for the company since two years, previously, he has been working at Hofmeister & Meincke as Sales Manager.
