The 30th ADAC Truck Grand Prix was staged on the Nürburgring on last weekend of June. This is where EUROPART presented its targets for the EUROPART own-brand almost exactly one year ago. Twelve months and many truck races later Europe’s leading commercial vehicle dealer can proudly record: “We have worked hard and are extremely satisfied with the quality and performance of our products. They have again demonstrated their success in extreme conditions during truck racing. Positive feedback from our customers also shows us that we’re on the right track with the quality strategy of our own brand,” summarised Ralf Maurer, Commercial Director at EUROPART.
With EUROPART own-brand brakes and brake discs fitted in his MAN TGS powered at over 1,000 HP, Frankie Vojtisek also lined up at the start for all four races on the legendary racetrack in the Eifel region. “My mechanics and I are very satisfied”, explained the Czech race driver after the race weekend”. And he added: “The combination of our new engine together with EUROPART products has produced a fantastic truck this season.”
EUROPART own-brand: excellent cost-effectiveness
The EUROPART own-brand product range today includes over 6,500 parts characterised primarily by their high quality and outstanding cost-effectiveness. In addition to consumables and workshop articles – such as chemical products, oils and tools – customers can find a large selection of axles and brakes, chassis, engine accessories, lighting and electrical parts as well as special equipment and accessories. For instance, brake discs and pads are as equally available as EUROPART own-brand products or also filters, air suspension units and windscreen wipers.
In July the latest catalogue for the EUROPART own-brand product range will be published in Germany by the company from Hagen. It will reinforce EUROPART’s own-brand positioning within the product range and present a selection from the extensive range of over 6,500 parts which is continuously being expanded to cater for customer needs. For example, water pumps, cab filters, slack adjusters and radiators have been included since the start of the year.
High quality at marketable prices demands competence in choosing the right products and suppliers. EUROPART achieves this by, for example, firstly using market analyses to verify which parts and products actually come into consideration for the EUROPART own-brand. Once the preliminary choice has been made, the suppliers are then audited and their products are thoroughly tested – often supported by well-known and independent inspection agencies such as the German TÜV. Final acceptance into the EUROPART own-brand is only made after the supplier as well as the product has successfully passed all the appropriate tests. Of course, EUROPART places value on quality assurance even after the market launch, and it continuously monitors the products – also by drawing on support from its own-company quality management team in Shanghai where it has been running its own office since 2014.
Home Grand Prix in Most
In late August, motor sport enthusiasts and truck fans will again have the opportunity to be impressed by the proven quality of the EUROPART own-brand in truck races. Following a huge open air festival on the Nürburgring, the truckers will firstly take a well-earned summer break before the races on the 29th and 30th August in the Autodrom Most signal the start of the second half of the season.
The EUROPART sales organisations from the Czech Republic and Poland will use the Team Frankie home race to invite selected customers to the racetrack in Northern Bohemia where they will have the opportunity to visit the paddock, chat to race driver Frankie Vojtisek, and take a look over his mechanics’ shoulders.
