EUROPART and DB Arriva cooperate
• The commercial vehicle parts dealer delivers batteries for buses in four European countries

EUROPART and the international personal transport company, DB Arriva, will intensify their cooperation in future. The leading European commercial vehicle parts dealer has won a Europe-wide call for bids from DB Arriva and will now supply replacement batteries for all Arriva buses in Sweden, Portugal, Spain and Slovakia. "We already work with DB Arriva in many different areas and in a number of European countries", emphasises EUROPART's CEO, Pierre Fleck. "The major contract from this important bus and rail operator in Europe reconfirms our international competence in spare parts for buses and our customers' high level of satisfaction with the quality of our products and the reliability of our delivery service."
The contract for Sweden, Portugal and Spain covers the delivery of batteries from the EUROPART own-brand. Arriva has cooperated very successfully with EUROPART in these countries, in particular Portugal, for a number of years and already has extensive experience with EUROPART's own-brand consumables and spare parts. In future, EUROPART will deliver Varta batteries for Arriva in Slovakia.
Deutsche Bahn as combined all of the regional transport activities outside of Germany along with all of the international passenger transport services in its DB Arriva division. DB Arriva offers bus and rail transport in 14 European countries and has more than 54,000 employees. The company operates more than 19,500 buses, 760 trains and 120 trams. According to its own statistics, the company transports approximately one billion passengers per year.
