Compressor-operated parking air conditioners have proven to be particularly effective in achieving the optimum temperature/humidity ratio in the driver's cab of trucks and commercial vehicles. This is because they are capable of reducing humidity, which condenser-powered units cannot do.
As the wide selection of air conditioner models in our product range makes clear, there should be a suitable air conditioner for every commercial vehicle. Compact air conditioners for roof mounting are particularly common. These combine all essential components in a single element. However, for vehicles where roof mounting is not readily possible, for example due to a cab with a spoiler, a superstructure or a roof pitch that is too steep, you can also fall back on split solutions in which the compressor unit and evaporator unit are mounted separately from one another.
With a modern air conditioning system, which is available for a wide range of truck models, the comfort effects can also be achieved in an energy-saving and therefore money-saving way: Gone are the days when drivers had to run the engine for long periods of time to keep the interior climate at a comfortable level even during the prescribed rest period. High-quality, modern systems instead make it possible to leave the engine switched off. This consumes less fuel, saves money and, incidentally, does something for the environment.
