All highlights at a glance:
What makes a good wheel hub!
- Long-lasting corrosion protection thanks to modern coating processes: Only special coatings ensure a long service life without impairing the sealing surfaces. The protection must not be too brittle or too soft.
- High-quality tapered roller bearings in OEM quality: The tolerances must match the bearings exactly. If they are too loose, they will "work themselves in". If they are too tight, they will overheat. Both lead to premature failure - usually with consequential damage
- Low noise development and maximum fitting accuracy thanks to perfect axial and radial run-out ensure a high level of driver comfort: minimal deviations in the hundredths range are enough to cause vibrations. If you cut corners here, you will pay for it later with complaints and downtimes.
- Controlled heat dissipation: With modern brake systems, the temperature at the wheel hub can rise to over 200 ยฐC. A high-quality hub dissipates the temperatures in acontrolled manner. A high-quality hub dissipates the temperatures in a controlled manner without distorting or damaging the bearing.
- Production in accordance with IATF 16949
A practical tip:
When installing the wheel hub, it is worth pausing briefly to carefully check the bearing surfaces, seals and ABS rings - for cleanliness, fit and damage. After all, even the best wheel hub can only perform to its full potential if everything is fitted cleanly, accurately and without tension.
Our approach: no compromises when it comes to safety-relevant components. That's why we only install OE-quality wheel bearings from well-known manufacturers whose products have proven themselves in daily use - even under high loads and extreme conditions.
