Green logistics: Schwarzer Spedition and Andryk Logistik use mobile solar panels from Green Energy

The transportation sector faces major challenges when it comes to reducing CO₂ emissions. Two companies, Schwarzer Spedition and Andryk Logistik, are pioneers in this field and have recently decided to equip their vehicles with mobile solar systems from Green Energy - an important step on the way to more environmentally friendly logistics.

Schwarzer Spedition - tradition and innovation hand in hand

Schwarzer Spedition is a family business with over 100 years of history. Since its foundation by Heinrich Schwarzer in Poland, starting with 20 employees, the company has come an impressive way. Today, the company has over 900 employees, 500 of its own trucks and around 150,000 square meters of warehouse space spread across 7 locations throughout Germany. The company offers services in transportation logistics, warehousing and supply chain management.

In addition to the installation of the mobile Green Energy solar panels, Schwarzer Spedition is committed to several sustainability initiatives. Drivers are continuously trained in fuel-efficient driving and the truck fleet is equipped with the latest engine technology to reduce CO₂ emissions. In addition, the company's own truck wash is powered by energy from a combined heat and power plant (CHP) and solar panels are installed on the company's buildings. Andryk Logistik - Technology as the key to success

The company was founded in 1961 by Walter Andryk. Today, Andryk Logistik employs 50 people and owns a fleet of 50 trucks. Their philosophy of quality and loyalty has earned them a loyal customer base and steady growth.

The collaboration with Green Energy and the installation of 110 Wp solar panels on their MAN TGX 18.510 trucks is another step towards sustainability. The solar panels help to reduce wear and tear on the generator and lower fuel consumption, leading to a significant reduction in CO₂ emissions. "We expect that with the installation we can reduce wear and tear on the generator in the trucks, as our drivers avoid idling to supply the battery with power. This in turn leads to fuel savings and a reduction in our CO₂ emissions," explains Stephan Haas, Management Assistant at Andryk Logistik. (Source: https://greenenergy.pro/)
