The transportation sector faces major challenges when it comes to reducing COâ‚‚ emissions. Two companies, Schwarzer Spedition and Andryk Logistik, are pioneers in this field and have recently decided to equip their vehicles with mobile solar systems from Green Energy - an important step on the way to more environmentally friendly logistics.
Schwarzer Spedition - tradition and innovation hand in hand
Schwarzer Spedition is a family business with over 100 years of history. Since its foundation by Heinrich Schwarzer in Poland, starting with 20 employees, the company has come an impressive way. Today, the company has over 900 employees, 500 of its own trucks and around 150,000 square meters of warehouse space spread across 7 locations throughout Germany. The company offers services in transportation logistics, warehousing and supply chain management.
In addition to the installation of the mobile Green Energy solar panels, Schwarzer Spedition is committed to several sustainability initiatives. Drivers are continuously trained in fuel-efficient driving and the truck fleet is equipped with the latest engine technology to reduce COâ‚‚ emissions. In addition, the company's own truck wash is powered by energy from a combined heat and power plant (CHP) and solar panels are installed on the company's buildings. (Source: https://greenenergy.pro/)
