Peugeot is a French vehicle manufacturer that started serial production in 1891 and is therefore the oldest automobile brand still in existence. Along with Citroën, Peugeot is part of the PSA Group. In terms of commercial vehicles, the Paris-based manufacturer offers the Bipper, Partner, Expert and Boxer series.
New version of the well-known large van: the Peugeot Boxer
As with its structurally identical relatives, the Citroën Jumper/Relay and Fiat Ducato, a new version of the Peugeot Boxer was also released in 2014. Based on three wheelbases (up to 4.04 metres), the French company's large van is available in four lengths and three heights with a total permissible weight of 2.8 to 4.0 tonnes. The Boxer, available as a panel van, combi van, minibus, pick-up and chassis cab, has a loading volume of up to 17 cubic metres. The engine range includes six diesel engines with power output levels of 81 to 132 kW (110 to 180 PS).
Flexible small van: the Peugeot Expert
After the Boxer comes the Peugeot Expert series, which can load between 935 and 1,091 kilograms. The standard version of the panel van has a loading height of 1,444 millimetres and the high-roof version has 1,756 millimetres. The loading space length is between 2,258 and 2,588 millimetres, depending on the version. The loading space volume ranges from five to seven cubic metres. The Expert is offered with a choice of three 1.6 and 2.0 litre diesel engines with power output from 66 to 120 kW (90 to 163 PS). Depending on the series, they are paired with a five or six-speed manual transmission. The 120 KW (163 PS) top-of-the-range engine is optionally available in combination with a six-speed automatic transmission.
At home in the city: the Peugeot Partner
With a new radiator grille, headlights and bumpers with superimposed light units, the most recent and primarily visual overhaul of the Partner model took place in early 2015. The city-friendly van has a loading volume of 3.3 to 3.7 cubic metres and a useful load capacity of 625 to 750 kilograms. The new Partner has a wide range of Euro 6 engines.
There are a total of six new VTi petrol engines and BlueHDi diesel units with powers of 55 to 88 kW (75 to 120 PS) to choose from. With the Partner Electric, the French manufacturer also has a purely electric van. Its driving power is 49 kW (DC motor).
Small but impressive: the Peugeot Bipper
The Bipper series rounds off the Peugeot range of lightweight commercial vehicles. Despite the compact size (total length 3.86 metres) the 54 or 55 kW (73 or 75 PS) small van has a 1.52-metre long loading space, with a volume of 2.5 cubic metres and a useful load of up to 535 kilograms.
